Real Estate Laws are constantly changing.

What years ago took only a contract for purchase and sale has now snowballed into an endless combination of forms and disclosures required by the State of Florida and the Federal Government. At Good Home Realty we have all the necessary forms to legally conduct the sale or purchase of your property and we receive updates every time these laws and regulations are changed. Our staff also undergoes periodic retraining required by the Florida Real Estate Commission to insure we are up-to-date with the laws and regulations affecting real estate transactions.

Good Home Realty offers full representation and will explain to you in detail every paper you that sign, but we are not lawyers.  We must advise you that having an attorney is always a good idea during the sale or purchase of your property.  If legal issues arise that your real estate agent can’t answer, you’ll need an attorney’s help.  Although our agents know a lot about the negotiating and contracting part of the process, they can’t make judgments on legal questions.  For example, what if your prospective new home has an illegal in-law unit, including an existing tenant whom you want to evict in order to rent the place to a friend?  Only a lawyer can tell you with any certainty whether your plans are feasible.  Or, if you’re drafting any unusual language for the purchase contract, you may want to have an attorney look it over.

Roxana Mirabal, P.A. is our attorney on staff who can work with you before, during and after the transaction.  She can be reached at 305-593-2011. She is a Member in Good Standing of The Florida Bar Association, and has vast experience in real estate matters.
